Rule 17
<br> to be done if conditions and restrictions are not complied with
If any person or organization imported plants, plant products, biological control agents, beneficial insects or other goods do not comply with the conditions and restrictions prescribed by the prevailing Nepalese law, such goods shall be treated and allowed to enter by the office or destroyed or sent back to the respective country. Therefore, the organization should be notified immediately.
(2) If the information is received according to sub-rule (1), the organization shall inform the National Plant Protection Organization of the respective country and give the necessary instructions to the relevant office for the action to be taken in relation to such item.
(3) According to sub-rule (2), the office shall destroy any item or send it back to the concerned country in accordance with the instructions received from the organization.
